William Pratley, of Hailey, was charged by Mr. Benjamin Ward, of Witney, with trespassing in search of conies in the parish of Wilcot, on land belonging to L. Pickering, Esq. He was fined 14s. and 10s. costs. |

"MASONS' ARMS," Northleigh, on MONDAY, 12th August, 1895, at 5 for 6 o'clock in the evening, subject to conditions of Sale then to be produced, the following properties:- |

Lot 2. - All that valuable copyhold close |
| of arable land, containing 5 Acres or thereabouts be the same more or less, called "Madley Close," situate at New Yatt in the parish of Hailey, Oxon, and occupied by Mr. Wm. Pratley, a yearly tenant, at the low annual rent of £10. This lot is Copyhold of the Manor of Witney, Oxon, and quite equal to Freehold. |

NORTHLEIGH.
Property Sale.- On Monday Messrs. Paxton and Holiday sold several lots of freehold and copyhold property, at the "Mason's Arms". A freehold close of pasture land was withdrawn at £137 10s.; five acres of copyhold arable land was bought by the tenant, Mr. W. Pratley, for £210. Two thatched cottages in the village was knocked down to Mr. Wainwright, for £89. A wheelwright's shop, with stable and two houses, were bought by Mr. Stephen Hill, for £200. |
