PETTY SESSIONS.
CHADLINGTON DIVISION.- Chipping-Norton, Oct. 29.
Before B.J. Whippy, Esq., & Revs. T. Harris & W.E.D. Carter.
John Pratley, jun., of Waterman's Lodge, in the forest of Wychwood, was charged by Mr. William Marshall, the station master at Charlbury, with entering a railway carriage whilst in motion, contrary to the bye laws of the Oxford, Worcester, and Wolverhampton Railway Company. The defendant expressed his regret, and was fined in the mitigated penalty of 1l. and 10s. costs, which he paid. |
