Sudden Death.-An inquest was held on the 13th inst., before F. Westell, Esq., coroner, on the body of William, son of Jesse Pratley, of Milton-under-Wychwood, laborer, aged 5 years. The deceased had always been a delicate child, and about a month ago had the measles, from which he had entirely recovered. On the Wednesday preceding the enquiry, the deceased was out in the village playing about, and seemed as well as usual. About seven o'clock the same evening, he became very agitated, and complained of a beating at the heart and pain in the chest. He went home, and about nine o'clock his mother put him to bed, and sent for medical assistance; but the deceased gradually grew worse, and died in about two hours afterwards. Medical opinion was, that deceased had died from inflammation in the chest, and a verdict to that effect was accordingly returned.
