I, ALBERT PRATLEY of Groveleigh Iver in the county of Buckingham hereby revoke all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this to be my last will which I make this seventh day of February one thousand nine hundred and seventeen I appoint my wife Mary Ann Pratley and John Kidd of 11 Warmington Road Herne Hill London S E (hereinafter called my trustees) to be the EXECUTORS and trustees of my will I bequeath (free of duty) the following legacies To my said wife Mary Ann Pratley the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to her immediately after my decease To the said John Kidd the sum of twenty pounds to Lionel Walter Pratley the sum of two hundred pounds and one of my watches to be selected by my wife I devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate not hereby or by any codicil hereto otherwise specifically disposed of and which I can dispose of by will in any manner I think proper unto my trustees Upon trust that my trustees shall sell the said real estate (including chattels real) and call in sell and convert into money such part of my personal estate as does not consist of money with power to postpone such sale and conversion for such a period as my trustees without being liable to account may think proper My trustees shall out of the money to arise from the sale and conversion of my said real and personal estate and out of my ready money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses death duties (including estate duty and increment value duty if and my debts and shall also pay or provide for the legacies hereby or by any codicil hereto bequeathed but so that all legacies and the duty on all legacies bequeathed free of duty shall be paid primarily out of my personal estate My trustees shall invest the residue of the said money in their name or under their control in or upon any of the investments hereby authorized with power for my trustees at discretion to change such investments for others of a like nature My trustees shall stand possessed of the investments hereinbefore directed to be made or authorised to be retained (including any part of my residuary estate remaining unconverted) and the investments for the time being representing the same (hereinafter called the trust fund) and of the annual income thereof upon the trusts following - and of the annual income thereof upon the trusts following that is to say Upon trust to pay the said income to my wife during her life without power of anticipation And after her death I direct that the capital and income of the trust fund shall be held in trust for my son Robert Augustus Pratley absolutely Money liable to be invested under the trusts of my will may be invested in any investments for the time being authorised as investments for trust moneys My wife shall have power from time to time to appoint a new trustee or new trustees of my will IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written - ALBERT PRATLEY- Signed and declared by the above named Albert Pratley as his last will in the presence of us both present at the same time who in his presence and the presence of each other have hereunto set out names as witnesses - G H BARBER - Solr 13 St Swithins Lane London E C - JNO WM BELSEY - Solr 13 St Swithins Lane E C
