DISPUTED WAGES.-Arthur Pratley, summoned Mr. Henry Vokins, of Leafield, for £6 14s. 6d., alleged to be due to him for wages. The defendant had agreed to pay 11s. per acre for reaping, and two other men for general work 15s. per week. Pratley through the agreement extended to him. After hearing several witnesses, the Bench dismissed the case. |
