At our Petty Sessions last week, before F. Whitaker, Esq.-Thomas Possett, of Burford, Edward Stevens, of Witney, Richard Colliver, of Stanton Harcourt, Charles Weller, of Witney, James Pratley, of Crawley, and Edmund Thornett, of Ramsden, were each committed to the House of Correction for 14 days' hard labour, for absenting themselves from the Witney Union.

Before W. Strickland, Esq., and Rev. W.S. Bricknell.

Caution to Parents.-Richard Adams, William Edwards, and David Florey, all of Ramsden, and Steven Weaver, Mary Ann Weeaver, and James Pratley, all of Crawley, were severally charged with neglecting to have a child vaccinated within three months of its birth, although the necessary notice had been duly served upon them. The case against Pratley was dismissed. The other defendants were each fined including costs, £1 3s. 9., or 14 days' imprisonment.
