Assault.- Nicholas Smith, Lewis Clements, John Pratley, and Charles Davis, four lads, were brought up in custody, charged with assaulting Jesse Buckingham. They were reprimanded by the Bench, and the case was dismissed, with a caution not to appear before the bench again.

John Claridge, alias Elias Pratley, of Hailey, was charged with trespassing in pursuit of game on land the property of Mrs. Pickering, of Wilcot Lodge; he was fined 2s. 6d. and 15s. 6d. costs; paid.

GAME TRESPASS.-John Claridge, alias Pratley, of Hailey, was charged with trespassing in pursuit of game, at Wilcote, on the 12th inst. Fined 2s. 6d., costs 15s. 6d., in default to be imprisoned for twenty-one days.

Game Trespass.- John Pratley, of Hailey, was charged with trespassing in pursuit of game on the 26th Jan., at Ramsden.- Fined 40s. costs 15s. 6d. Committed in default of payment for two months.

KILLING PIGEONS.-John Pratly, alias Claridge, of Hailey, was fined 20s., including costs, and committed for 14 days in default of payment, for unlawfully killing two pigeons, the property of Mrs. Pickering, at Hailey, on the 10th inst.

Game Prosecution.- John Pratley, Elias John Claridge, of Hailey, was summoned for shooting two partridges, out of season, at Hailey, on the 7th February. Fined including costs 25s. 6d. or three weeks' imprisonment. Paid.

Carrying Guns without a Licence.-John Pratley, Hailey, was summoned by the Supervisor of Excise, for carrying a gun without a licence. Fined £2 10s.-John Panting was charged with a similar offence, and also fined £2 10s.

Game.-John Pratley, alias John Claridge, was charge with killing one partridge, at Northleigh, on the 8th of January, without having a game licence. Fined £5, and costs 15/6. Committed for 6 weeks' imprisonment with hard labour in default of payment.

Assault.-The same defendant was charged with assaulting George Beddin, at the same time and place. Fined, including costs, £2 13/6. Committed for a further period of 1 calendar month's imprisonment with hard labour in default of payment. Mr. Lee appeared for defendant in this and the preceding case.
