1827 PRATLEY Mary Probate of the Will of Mary Pratley    
Full Will:

I Mary Pratley of Wilbeck Street Cavendish Square in the County of Middlesex widow do hereby revoke all former wills Codicils and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and so make and publish my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) Thereby ratify and confirm the deed of settlement made by me on or about the second day of November now instant and I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the wife of John Shain all my household goods and furniture plate linen wearing apparel debts due and owing to me and all other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever to hold to her my said daughter to and for her own use absolutely subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debts and Funeral and testamentary expences and I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my said daughter Mary Shain sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Mary Pratley have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Eleventh day of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty Mary Pratley = Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses R. Gibbs Veal - R V Mann Clerk to Mr S. Pulley Doctor Commons.

Proved at London 11th January 1827 before the worshipful Charles Cook Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Mary Shain wife of John Shain / the daughter the sole Executrix to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
