PETTY SESSIONS.
CHADLINGTON DIVISION.- Chipping-Norton, Aug. 21.
Before B.J. Whippy, Esq., and the Revs. R.L. Baker, J.H. Worsley, and W.E.D. Carter.
Stephen Stringer and William Pratley, both of Milton, labourers, were charged by Mr. Thomas Venville, licensed victualler, with being drunk, on the 1st inst., and refusing to quit his house when requested; convicted in penalty and costs 12s. 6d. each; in default, committed for 14 days.- Stringer was also charged by Mr. Venville with assaulting him, at the same time and place; convicted in penalty and costs 1l. 0s. 6d.; in default committed for 14 days. |
