On Monday last our Assizes began, before the Lord Chief Justice Abbott and Mr. Baron Garrow, when the following prisoners took their trials:

Joseph Pratley and Shadrach Debank, charged (the latter on his own confession) with having stolen a pig, of the value of 3l. the property of William Claridge, of Hailey.- Pratley discharged by Proclamation; Debank transported for seven years.
