LEAFIELD.
Cricket. - A very interesting match was played at the above village on Wednesday last, between eleven married and eleven single, which, after some excellent play, ended in the defeat of the benedicts by 77 runs, a result to be attributed mainly to the excellent fielding of the single gentlemen. Messrs. Pratley and Williams on the single, and R. Ferriman and Dix on the married side showed an intimate acquaintance with the use of the willow and contributed largely to their respective scores.
| Married. - W. Pratley | 0 and 4. |
| Single. - T. Pratley | 18 and 23, | B. Pratley | 11 and 2. |
