Full Will:

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me EMMA PRATLEY of 67 Garmoyle Road in the City of Liverpool Widow

1. I hereby revoke all former wills codicils and testamentary instruments made by me and declare this to be my last will

2. I appoint my son Herbert Aston Pratley and my friend George Robert Catlow of "Lauriston" Beech Lane Allerton in the county Lancaster Builder (hereinafter called "my trustees") to be the EXECUTORS and trustees of this my will And I declare that the expression "my trustees" shall include the said Herbert Aston Pratley and George Robert Catlow and the survivor of them or other the trustees or trustee for the time being of this my will where the context so requires or admits

3. I bequeath the following legacies all free from legacy and other duties namely To my sister Clara Bailey at present of Fox How Ambleside in the county of Cumberland Spinster the sum of one hundred pounds To my niece Annie Priscilla Jones of 49 David Street Park Road Liverpool aforesaid Married Woman the sum of one hundred pounds To my friend Mary Elizabeth Mousdell of 16 Volunteer Street St Helens in the said county of Lancaster Married Woman the sum of twenty pounds

4. I give devise and bequeath all the real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever of or to which I shall be seized possessed or entitled at my death or over which I shall then have a general power of appointment or disposition by will (except property otherwise disposed of by this my will or any codicil hereto) unto and to the use of my trustees their heirs executors or administrators respectively upon trust to sell call in and convert into money the same of such part thereof as shall not consist of money at such time or times and in such manner as my trustees shall think fit and so that my trustees shall have the fullest power and discretion to postpone the sale calling in or conversion of the whole or any part or parts of the said premises during such period as they shall think proper and to retain the same or any part thereof in its present form of investment without being responsible for loss And with and out of the money to arise therefrom and out of the money of which I shall die possessed to pay my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and the pecuniary legacies hereinbefore bequeathed and the duties thereon and to stand possessed of the residue of the said monies in trust for my sons Philip Louis Pratley and Herbert Aston Pratley absolutely in equal shares

5. If either of my said sons Philip Louise Pratley and Herbert Aston Pratley shall have died in my lifetime leaving issue living at my death the share of my estate hereunder which such son would have taken if he had survived me shall be held in trust for any child or children of his living at my death who being male attain the age of twenty one years or being female attain that age or marry and if more than one in equal shares IN WITNESS whereof I the said Emma Pratley have to this my will set my hand this fifth day of May one thousand nine hundred and twenty one - EMMA PRATLEY - signed by the said testatrix as her last will in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses - W STUART ROLO Solicitor Liverpool - HAROLD P V WILLIAMS his Clerk

On the 29th day of July 1922 Probate of this will was granted to Herbert Aston Pratley and George Robert Caldrow the executors.
