WITNEY, November 2.
On Monday last an inquest was held at the King of Prussia public house, in West End, by James Westell, Esq. coroner, on view of the body of Caleb Pratley, a boy about 12 years of age, who was accidentally killed on the Saturday previous by the falling in of a stone pit. The deceased was assisting his uncle, and throwing out stones, when the margin of the pit gave way, striking the deceased and causing a severe concussion of the brain and breaking his neck, consequently causing instant death. Verdict, "accidental death." |
