Game Trespass. - Robert Pratley, of Hailey, was charged by David Pratley, gamekeeper on lands in the hamlet of Hailey, belonging to His Grace, in search of game. Ordered to pay fine and costs amounting to 17s. This amount was paid forthwith. |

Malicious Injury.- Joseph Smith, John Bridgeman, James Winfield, and Edmund Bishop, all of Crawley, appeared to summonses, charging them with wilfully and maliciously throwing a portion of a wall down on the farm of Mr. Wm. Cook, of Crawley; the charge was proved by D. Pratley, a gamekeeper, who happened to be close at hand on "the spy" at the time. Edmund Bishop was discharged, it appearing he had not participated in the offence, although present on the occasion; the other three defendants were severally sentenced to one month's imprisonment at Oxford, with hard labour, in default of payment of compensation, fine, and costs, amounting together to 21s. in each case. |

Joseph Hathaway, charged with having at Witney, assaulted and bead David Pratley, with intent to resist the apprehension of him, the said Joseph Hathaway, for stealing underwood, value 1s., the property of the Duke of Marlborough. |

Richard Carter, of Hailey, was charged with stealing at Hailey, on the 20th inst., three ash poles, of the value of 6d., the property of David Pratley. Pleaded guilty, and was committed for twenty-one days' imprisonment, with hard labour. |

I David Pratley of the Parish of Hailey in the County of Oxon make this my last Will this Third day of February 1882 I bequeath my House and Garden situate at Leafield Oxon to my eldest Son Lewis Pratley I bequeath House and land at White Oak Green Hailey to my younger Son David Pratley I leave 5 £ to my elder Daughter Eleanor Wright now living in the County of Middlesex I also leave 5 £ to my younger Daughter Caroline Wright of Witney I direct that these legacies and my debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the Estate at Hailey I appoint as my Executors my sons Lewis Pratley and David Pratley
