Richard Pratley, of Asthall, labourer, was charged by W. Pratley, gamekeeper to Lord Redesdale, with trespassing in search of game, in the parish of Asthall, on the 19th ult.; convicted and fined 9s. and costs; allowed 14 days to pay, or in default three weeks' imprisonment. |

Before the Revds. Thos. Harris, Wm. E.D. Carter, and J.H. Worsley.
Richard Pratley, Philip Eeles, and George Watts, of Asthall, labourers, were charged with having, on the 1st of April, at Wychwood, feloniously stolen three iron rabbit traps, of the value of 4s. 6d., the property of Jeremiah Williams; Pratley was discharged; Eeles and Watts were convicted, and committed to gaol for 21 days' hard labour. |
